Many of us wanted (needed) to diet, but not everyone. This specific is a great mixture book of dietary and nutrition information along with recipes. I have a Lots of cookbooks (mostly non-diet) but this one (along with another Southbeach Books) gets the most use. The recipes are actually easy enough for me to do - mostly with ingredients I already have, which is key - and delightful enough that we've made them even though we're not " on" the diet anymore. We all bought copies for friends and relatives too, we liked it so much., I was very suspicious about this diet, in line with the title. Then a good friend recommended the diet since you actually eat GENUINE food! And my husband and I have both started the diet and are enjoying it! It is the first diet we can both stick to and it's very easy. Not to mention all the great receipes you get. We all feel great and the weight is coming off! That is the BEST part. It's the way to live and that we do not feel like we have been ''missing' out on anything. Highly recommend this for everyone! It works., I'm looking into a number of different diets which has always already been popular. It looks possible and the recipe's are helpful. I was using to compare to a Mediterranean diet and there are parallels. I recently choose elements of both of these as well as others., There were a number of things We was eating and thought I was being healthy. Even though it takes some time to arrive, the guide helps you determine what are the foods you should and should not be eating whether you diet or not. I bought an extra copy for my son, so he'd be aware of it., Many other diets have been built on the no-carb revolution based on Dr. Atkins approach. Many good recipes and we still put it to use today when we are wanting to cut the lb's., This is a straight forwards, easy to understand and follow diet plan for those of us who hate diets. The best part concerning this diet is that the restrictions are minimal, allowing you to eat normally, without keeping track of calories or restricting part sizes. In the end, for me, it came down to realizing that I needed to make healthier choices for my meals while training some common sense., Prior to I start, I failed to get this book for weight loss, though I'm sure it works for that. We just wanted to teach personally good eating habits as I up until recently ate crappy the majority of the time.

So this book had great advice about moderation of bad foods and motivates you to get healthy by educating you on how your body digests food. Trying to find following phase 2 great but had to skip phase 1 after one day. I obtained heartburn so bad by the finish of the day, it was excruciating. Folks who have stomach acid solution problems shouldn't skip out on the carbs that soak up... It will be painful. But the rest aside from that is lovely, I'm very happy I bought this guide. I feel more strengthened to make the right choices, even if I occasionally have a cheat meal/ day. We have also noticed my bit of a tummy shrink since following it, so that's a added bonus., this is a great book. Loads of recipes for various steps in the diet program. You still will need the how to book but this is an excellent addition.
