It offered so much more than I actually expected, like the nutrition suggestions and great work out programs. Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to enter shape without paying for the expensive gym membership., Full of grammatical errors. A few of the images seem to be like they come from random websites. Not much original content here., Great for anyone wanting to get started with bodyweight training. Great description of the exercises, progressions from beginner to advanced, and appropriate links so the reader are able to see the exercises on video. I would definitely recommend this book., Good read, but wasn't what I was expexting., Ugh, I can not describe it to you how many calisthenics books that I read that just got it wrong! The perfect example will be the Minimalism Effect, something more describes their enhancing process, tries to inform people that doing less in your exercise is more. That is not only incorrect on calisthenics but on exercise as a whole. Calisthenics shows you precisely what is in the title, and isn't afraid to let you have to work for what you want.
If it had not been for the master of my fitness center then I would have never found this book. He knew the author and even enforces the 5 Important Rules For Models and Reps in his own gym. The step by step illustrations and diet suggestions gave my figure boast it needed to go from " good" to great in days! It is also nice that it is a page turner with information that I actually never heard from... well anyone. Finally, no more asking my trainers for advice!, As a Bodily Education and Health instructor, I know there is a lot info out there right now that can be misleading to people. Thus, when I research and look for helpful material for my classes, I don't just pick anything. When it comes to the guide " Calisthenics, " I actually was throughly impressed with the text itself. Finding information has given me personally great information to share with my students, but also has helped me personally re-evaluate my own physical fitness.
I really prefer the statistical work this guide has put in to share the value of physical exercise for the body ranging from the brain, chest, and heart health. Typically the 30 essential exercises in the text have given me and my students a variety of activities, which have challenged our physical fitness. They have been fun to try, and I have liked the process of working out in a new way. That is great that the exercises only need to done with body weight and not with expensive exercise equipment. I highly recommend this guide to physical fitness!, Like most people I actually have a very occupied schedule, and often time's I'm not able to go to the fitness center, and purchasing equipment is merely too expensive. After doing some research I realized calisthenics was the way to go. Having read through many previous works I actually was frankly disappointed with the overly simplified exercises and confusing regimens. Luckily I persevered and ultimately found " Calisthenics" by John Cooper, not only was it easy to follow, well written, but it sparked a new found passion. Detailed blueprints, detail by detail illustrations are just the beginning; John Cooper goes above and over and above the decision with individualized food plans and effective work out routines from beginner to expert. I feel and appearance so much healthier, thank you John! This is a book that I actually recommend highly!, This guide is awesome! The gym had not been really working for me personally because I have such a fastpaced schedule so I actually couldn't have realized this guide at a better time! Not necessarily only does it give six months time of training for beginners (which is definitely what I am), but when I believe like I'm ready to progress, it offers workouts and advice for that as well. The author realizes also that this is not merely about working out, but it's a psychological process as well. We all have to connect our mind with this so we can remain focused and motivated. I'm telling you this book can save you gym membership fees because you need no equipment and it's so effective! You have to read it!
