Sounds tasty and I look forward to try them, We am always happy to try new vegan cook books then when I was offered this ebook, I had been happy to accept. This is my honest review.

Very first, I feel the need to point out that this is not a “raw” vegan cookbook by any stretch of the creativeness. So, I dodn’t think the word “raw” goes in the title! It is quite misleading and anyone who follows a raw vegetarian diet would be very upset that they paid for a non-raw cookbook! That said, my hubby, Expenses and I do not follow a raw diet, just vegan. We both love Asian food, China, Japanese, and Indian, especially! Asian has a lot of the world. Don’t expect this cookbook to cover it all. It is mainly Chinese and somewhat Japanese.

It’s unusual to see breakfast recipes in an Asian cookbook, to see them in this cookbook was a unique surprise. I have the same breakfast every morning and like to keep it en aning so I didn’t try any of the déjeuner yet. However, some of the dishes work for lunch, like the Breakfast Wanton Soup.

I made the Salt and Pepper Tofu listed in appetizers but think it would also be a good main dish with some brown rice. I also made the Hot and Sour Soups. The 2 made a nice dinner for the two of us with leftover soup for lunch the next day. I look forward to trying the Asian Chili Tofu, also in the appetizers segment. Another night I made the Tofu Udon. We used firm tofu rather than the silken tofu because Bill doesn’t like silky tofu. It had been good! We also made the Sriacha Fried Rice another supper. I’m a cook who like to make several dishes for one dinner unless we have friends over. We can’t eat as much as we use to and it just uses up too much time.

One of my favorite vegetables in Oriental recipes is eggplant so I made the Hot and spicy Eggplant. The recipe performed not specify what variety of eggplant to use and so i use Japanese, my favorite kind. It was delicious! There were one or two Indian inspired recipes but I would have like to have observed more. We look forward to attempting more of the quality recipes., I have made a few of the quality recipes so far in this book and they are generally above average. The particular cookbook itself could use images though. Usually We flip through and use the images to decide what I want to try to make, and here it was a little difficult to understand what the finished product should look like. Likewise the introduction to veganism was a little odd i believe. Most of the readers of this publication would already understand what this is, plus it didn't describe the benefits and seemed to fatigue.

Apart from that though, I thought the recipes were decent and there are numerous quality recipes which made the price of the Kindle option well worth it for me., I'm not a cook... I'm also not Vegan. I am, yet , a health nut. We take fitness and diet very seriously. I love this e-book by Mike Kuma as they offers basic Asian recipes that are easy to cook, despite my limited cooking skills. Along with this e-book comes great e-book by Sam Kuma, " thirty-six Potent Foods to Shed Weight & Live Healthy. " What a great way to educate readers and those new to the food/Vegan world than to supply another great publication.

I love incorporating fresh vegetables and protein into every meal, this e-book of Vegan Asian recipes offers just that. This even offers recipes that don't include tofu and are components most people have on hand. My personal favorite recipe: Dou Jiang (Sweetened Soymilk)! A few recipe's have ingredients that can be substituted, such as baking powder in place of ammonium bicarbonate (which is hard to find generally in most grocers). For those non-Vegans out there, chicken and pork can be substituted in place of tofu and still offers wonderful flavors (although branching out and trying Tofu is encouraged by me). To be able to also increase health options, I would look to activities such as baking the veg spring rolls as compared to frying them.

While it's not as important as the content, I feel like any book being published should be set up and uniform in the formatting. A little extra time putting the concluding touches might have made this e-book look more professional and put together.
