Lesson 2 -- How to use resource broker submit gaussian job!

Objective: When the Gaussian input builder produce the gaussian input file, can use the resource broker GUI submit the Job directly.

Prerequisite: Users must have access to the Gaussian program in order to configure the Resource Broker and GSub (Grid Submission) for running the program.  To use the resource broker submit the gaussian job you must have the gaussian input file and one Gsub script file

Procedure: In the resource broker GUI, enter the following information in the appropriate place:

1. First click the “resource broker” button of CSE-Online, click the “Add connection” button, and input your server name, user name and password, respectively. select PBS Access Enabled, and input the complete path to Pbs Executable. Click “Test connection” button to test the server connection, if the test is successful, Save the sever connection

2. Go to the Gaussian input builder interface, edit the Gaussian input file, and then click the “submit” button submit your job. Input your input file name, chk name, and execution script name, then click the “submit” button to submit the job
3. Click the “View Status” button to view your job process
